Terms.

The rules. Short and plain.

Last updated: May 13, 2026

1. The basics.

By using Voxit, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use Voxit. You need to be at least 13 years old to use it.

2. Your account.

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. If you bring your own API keys or OAuth credentials, you're responsible for any actions taken through those services using your accounts.

3. Actions Voxit takes for you.

Voxit can take real actions on your behalf — sending messages, making purchases, booking services, executing code, controlling your Mac, filling out forms, and interacting with websites. By using Voxit, you acknowledge:

  • You're responsible for the commands you give Voxit
  • Voxit asks for confirmation before sensitive actions (purchases, sending money, sending messages) unless you've configured it otherwise
  • Actions taken on third-party services are bound by those services' terms
  • You should review the outcomes of automated actions, especially financial ones

4. Acceptable use.

You agree not to use Voxit to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Access systems or data without authorization
  • Distribute malware or harmful content
  • Abuse third-party services beyond their terms
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Circumvent security features or access controls
  • Impersonate others or send fraudulent communications

5. Third-party services.

Voxit connects to third-party services (Google, GitHub, Slack, Notion, Amazon, Uber, Stripe, OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google AI, and others) using accounts and credentials you provide. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms. Voxit is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or actions of third-party services.

6. AI-generated content.

Voxit uses AI models to process your requests and generate responses. AI-generated content may contain errors. Actions taken based on AI processing — purchases, messages, code changes — are your responsibility to verify. Voxit provides confirmation prompts for sensitive actions, but you're ultimately responsible for the outcomes.

7. Screen and browser actions.

When you use Voxit's screen vision feature, screenshots of your active window are captured and sent to AI providers for analysis. You're responsible for what's visible on your screen at the time. When Voxit controls a browser on your behalf, those actions are executed using your own login state. You're responsible for the transactions or submissions Voxit performs on your behalf.

8. Beta.

The Voxit beta is in active development. Software may contain bugs or incomplete features. Beta access may be modified or revoked at any time. Feedback you provide during the beta may be used to improve the product.

9. Pricing.

Voxit may offer free and paid tiers in the future. Pricing, features, and billing terms will be communicated clearly before any charges. You may cancel at any time. During the beta, all features are available at no cost.

10. Intellectual property.

Your data is yours. The Voxit application, brand, name, logo, and original content are ours, protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The Voxit brand may not be used without written permission.

11. No warranties.

Voxit is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We don't warrant the accuracy of any AI-generated content or automated action.

12. Limitation of liability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voxit and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of revenue, financial losses from automated transactions, or loss of business opportunities — arising from your use of the application or any actions taken on your behalf.

13. Indemnification.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Voxit and its creators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the application, your violation of these terms, or actions taken through your connected services.

14. Changes to these terms.

We may update these terms over time. Continued use of Voxit after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the application or by email.

15. Termination.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, with or without cause. On termination, your right to use the application ceases immediately. You can still request a full export of your data.

16. Governing law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
